How do I claim a warranty issue on an item?
A: Any RECON products that are found to be defective in either material or craftsmanship will be covered under our Warranty as stated below. Lighting items that require electrical 12-volt power during operation are covered for a period of 90 days following the original purchase date. All warranty claims must be accompanied by a Return Goods Authorization issued by Super-Bee Truck Accessories Ltd. & the original proof of purchase (a customers first & last name along with their order # must be legible on the proof of purchase documentation). To initiate this process, this information must be sent via email to sales@gorecon.ca



If any RECON product proves to be defective within the warranty period, at our discretion we will repair it or replace it with the same or similar product at no cost to you.


I bought a RECON product, but I don't want it. What are my options?
A: If you purchased a product from gorecon.ca or Super-Bee Truck Accessories Ltd and decide to return it for any reason other than the item being defective, you may do so within 30 days from the date the product was delivered to you; however, there will be a 30% restocking fee associated with your return. This is assuming the packaging has not been opened & the original box is in new condition. If the package has been opened or the box is damaged, we cannot accept it back.


If you are returning a new item, All return items must be accompanied by a Return Goods Authorization issued by Super-Bee Truck Accessories Ltd. & the original proof of purchase (a customers first & last name along with their order # must be legible on the proof of purchase documentation). We will then either exchange the item for you for another item of equal or lesser value or we will credit back your credit card or PayPal account less the shipping cost and the 30% restocking fee. The 30% restocking fee is based on the net value of the item being returned after all discounts have been taken into account.



Where do we ship to & how much will it cost?
A: We ship anywhere in Canada. All orders that are to be delivered within Canada will only incur a $19.99 shipping & handling charge regardless of how many items are ordered. Therefore, the more you order, the more you save. It's just another way that we at gorecon.ca express our gratitude and thanks for your patronage.


What happens if an item is damaged in shipping?
A: If your product was damaged during shipping, you must contact the Carrier within 48 hours of receiving the product. At that time you will need to file a damage claim with the Carrier and NOT with us. You will be provided a claim # & a tracking # which you must supply to us via email along with a brief description of the problem you had. The email address you should use is: sales@gorecon.ca. After we receive confirmation of the damage claim we will send you out a replacement item at no additional cost.

Shipping

We offer free shipping on orders of $250 or more to most Canadian addresses. If your order is under $249.99 then we  have a flat rate shipping charge of $19.95.

The method of shipping depends on your location but we generally use Canada Post or Loomis Courier if they service your area. If we are shipping to a residential address then we will ship by Canada Post and will have the parts held at the nearest depot. A business address is the best place to ship to. We can ship to your work address or the shop that will be installing the parts for you. If you do want us to ship to your home address then you have to realize that there will be no insurance for damage and if you happen to step out for 5 minutes (or be in the bathroom) then the driver may leave without dropping it off and send it back to us.
If you don't have a business address then we can have Loomis hold it at their depot and you can pick it up there. They will usually hold it for up to 5 days to make it easier to get and a lot of depots are open on the weekend.
If your location is determined to be a remote location not serviced directly by Loomis Courier then you will be contacted with a shipping quote before we send your order out. If you feel the shipping is too expensive you can request a full refund.

Free Shipping Details

We offer Free Shipping, otherwise known as PrePaid Shipping, based on certain conditions

Orders over a certain dollar amount we offer free shipping and it is considered a discount on the product. If the product is returned the shipping allowance will be deducted from the amount credited back to the customer.

Order value varies by the region we are shipping to and the cost of shipping to said area. There are also occasionally areas which are considered "Beyond" which are out of the normal service areas. These areas are the exception to the Free Shipping rule and if you are in one of these areas we will contact you to let you know that your shipping is not free and what the additional charges will be. You will be given the same shipping discount as a customer in a normal shipping zone. You are free to cancel your order if you feel the shipping charges are too high.

In Alberta orders over $100 ship free, lesser orders will be charged $9.95
In BC, Saskatchewan & Manitoba orders over $200 ship free, lesser orders will be charged $14.95
In Ontario & Quebec orders over $250 ship free, lesser orders will be charged $24.95
In Atlantic Canada orders over $300 ship free, lesser orders will be charged $34.95
In Northern Canada orders over $400 will ship for free, lesser orders will be charged $44.95

Return Policy

Returns are only accepted on items marked as "30 Day Return Policy Applies"

Items marked as discounted or clearance are being sold at a reduced price and are not eligble for return. Items marked as Special order are not returnable for any reason. All returns require prior authorization. Parts sent back without authorization will be refused or destroyed. The customer is responsible for return shipping charges except on items shipped back due to defective from new or item not as described.

Credit for returns that are approved and accepted will be creditted back to the credit card or PayPal account used for payment less a 5% credit card and handling fee. Orders paid by credit card or PayPal and cancelled before shipping will have a 3% fee deducted for credit card processing and handling charges. The reason for this is that the credit card fees are not refunded to us and rates vary from 2.5% to 3.45%. Returns for products that are paid by eTransfer wll have the full amount returned.
